Privacy policy

In short
When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture. We use them only to run your account and your sessions. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
What we collect
When you sign in with Google
Sign-in is handled by Google through Firebase Authentication, a Google service. Google shares with us your name, email address, profile picture and a Google account ID. We never see your Google password.
When you book or contact us
What you tell us by WhatsApp, email or phone: for example the training you want, times that suit you, your phone number, and anything you choose to share about your goals.
During your sessions
Your trainer may keep short notes on your progress so each session builds on the last. We do not record sessions unless we ask first and you agree.
When you visit the website
Our hosting provider, Google Firebase Hosting, keeps basic request logs (such as internet address, browser and pages requested) to keep the site secure and working. The site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Firebase Authentication stores a sign-in token in your browser so you stay signed in.
How we use it
- To sign you in and show your account.
- To arrange, confirm and run your sessions.
- To reply to your messages and send receipts.
- To keep the website secure and fix problems.
- To meet our legal and tax duties.
We do not sell your personal data, share it for advertising, or use it to train anything other than you.
Who we share it with
Only the services we need to run the academy: Google (Firebase Authentication and Hosting, and Google Meet or similar for online sessions), and WhatsApp or your email provider when you message us. We may also share data when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Your sign-in account: until you ask us to delete it.
- Messages, booking records and session notes: up to 1 year after your last session or message, unless the law asks us to keep payment records longer.
- Hosting request logs: up to 30 days.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw your consent. Emailacademy@saswatlife.com from the Google email address you signed in with. We complete deletion within 30 days.
You can also remove saswatlife Academy's access at any time from your Google account, under Security → Third-party apps and services.
Children
If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must sign in and book on your behalf, and agree to this policy for you.
Keeping it safe
Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with Google's cloud services. Only the people who run your sessions can see your details.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we update the date at the top. For a significant change, we tell signed-in learners by email first.
Questions and complaints
Write to academy@saswatlife.com. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
